This machine has been developed for high efficienty manufacturing new dies and reconditioning used dies. The grinding operation is very fast as it is obtained by means of a special diamond tool rotating at very speed (up to 42000 RPM). The die is rotating opposite to the dimond tool. DIE PROFILER 2000 can repair the conical part and bearing (parallel part) of a die in very short time and very precisely. The machine, equipped with digital micrometers, is extremely precise, able to produce working angle and bearing exactly according to the specification. The optimum range of diameters is between 1.5 and 12 mm, but with smaller diamond tool it is possible to manufactur dies down to 0.6 mm. The machine is equipped with a dust suction unit to avoid dust in the environment. |
